Curriculum:
Our Early Care and Education curriculum is based on developmental milestones in conjunction with the
Ounce Scale and Work Sampling System assessment tools. These research based tools help families work
with their children on their development. Infant through Toddler classrooms receive Family Album workbooks
that help them work with their children on age appropriate activities. Preschool through Kindergarten use
comprehensive assessment tools to map the developmental progress of the children on national developmental
benchmarks.
Our school age program utilizes lesson plans focused on experimenting with new interests, finding mentoring
relationships and developing socialization opportunities.
Staff:
Our lead ECE teachers have a Bachelors or Associates degree, or a Child Development Associate National
Accreditation. We have a full-time Program Director and a full-time School Age Services Coordinator
whose primary focuses are supporting our teachers to help maintain a high quality of classroom activities.
All staff members regularly attend continuing education classes, and we value opportunities for teachers
to grow professionally and share ideas. They are supported with specialized training, resources, and
the freedom to refine the learning environment to insure each child’s needs will be met.
