Curriculum:
Our Early Childhood Education curriculum is based on the Delaware Early Learning Foundations framework
(Preschool
/ Infant) in conjunction
with the Teaching Strategies Gold assessment tool. This research based
tool helps families work with their children on their development. Infant through Pre-Kindergarten will
receive support tools during Family conferences to assist with approaching benchmarks. Teachers and/or
Program Director are available anytime to discuss curriculum and /or children’s development.
Our school age program utilizes lesson plans focused on experimenting with new interests, finding mentoring
relationships and developing socialization opportunities.
Staff:
Our lead ECE teachers have a Bachelors or Associates degree, or a Child Development Associate National
Accreditation. We have a full-time Program Director and a full-time School Age Services Coordinator
whose primary focuses are supporting our teachers to help maintain a high quality of classroom activities.
All staff members regularly attend continuing education classes, and we value opportunities for teachers
to grow professionally and share ideas. They are supported with specialized training, resources, and the
freedom to refine the learning environment to insure each child’s needs will be met.
