How to Help: Advocate For Children
|
To help us advocate for children, the following actions are needed:

Contact the Governor’s Office and your area state legislator sharing your concern about
the state paying so little of the cost of quality care and education, and ask them to increase
the Purchase of Care Reimbursement Rates because our children should be the priority. |

Ask your employer how they can help support high quality early care and education through
financial and in-kind donations, or how they can help influence public policy through groups like
the Chamber of Commerce or other trade groups. |
|
Join us for events such as Delaware Advocacy Day, held in Delaware Legislative Hall once a
year to highlight the importance of early education and school age care, or attend our own annual
Legislative Breakfast. |
